Obituary of Beverly Jean Rosenthal

Beverly Jean (Christie) Rosenthal of Bald Bluff Township, Keithsburg, IL passed away at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria on Friday, December 4, 2020. She was born to Virgil and Freeda (Brightenstein) Christie on May 14, 1930 in Keithsburg. She is survived by her beloved husband Charles Rosenthal who she married at Keithsburg Christian Church, and he resides in Keithsburg. Also surviving is one son, Mark (Diana) Rosenthal of Posen; six grandsons; Daniel Rosenthal of Terra Haute, IN, Gregory and Timothy Rosenthal of Monmouth, Christopher (Amanda) Rosenthal of Mokena; Jonathan (Katie) Rosenthal of Frankfort, and Matthew (Hannah) Rosenthal of Monee; one granddaughter, Melissa Rosenthal of Chicago; five great-granddaughters, Annabelle, Lillian, Josephine, Mackenzie and Raegan; and one great-grandson to be born in March 2021. Also surviving Beverly are two brothers, William (Brenda) Christie of Burlington, IA and Loren (Winnie) Christie of Keithsburg; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Freeda Christie of Keithsburg; son, Paul Rosenthal of Monmouth; brother, Vernon Christie of Washington; and niece, Shirley Turner of Burlington, IA; Cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held at this time.
