Obituary of Kenneth William Smith

Kenneth William Smith, 60, of Davenport, IA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 4, 2021, in East Peoria, IL. He was born on September 16, 1960, to William and Wilma (Bell) Smith in Chicago; they preceded him in death. He married Susan Emery on March 29, 1996; she survives. He is also survived by his two daughters, April Nosa (Smith) and Heather Smith; seven grandchildren, Rilynn Nosa, Ryder Clary, Stormie Nosa, Cole Nosa, Kingsley Smith, Bronx Nosa, and Nash Schumaker; one sister, Tamie Modlin (Smith); two brothers, Jack and William Smith; five nephews, Mark, Reggie, Jeremy, Eric, and Andrew; two nieces, Stephanie and Jacqueline. Kenneth was kind, caring, loving person who helped others. He loved his grandchildren and constantly bragged about them. He looked forward to traveling and spending time with his wife. His passion was truck driving, which was his occupation for over 34 years. He enjoyed tearing things apart and fixing them. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and loved anything that had to do with medieval times. He always made people laugh. He will be greatly missed and loved forever.
