Sara Hamel, 56, of Peoria, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at her home. She was born on July 7, 1966, in Columbia, MO, to Russell and Margaret (Rockwood) Hamel. She married Roy Hamel; he survives.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Cremation Specialist of Illinois is assisting the family.
